Vasant Kanya Mahavidyalaya offers a wide range of undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) courses, and the admissions for these courses are conducted through the CUET Exam, which is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Detailed information regarding the eligibility criteria, terms and conditions for admission are published in the UET/PET Bulletin, which is available on the BHU Admission Portal (https://admission.bhu.ac.in/en ).

Admissions to the program are strictly based on the merit index and the availability of seats in the respective program, following the guidelines outlined in the BHU Information Bulletin, as well as the rules established by Banaras Hindu University. These rules may be revised periodically to ensure fair and transparent admission procedures.

Procedure

• 1. After counselling, if a candidate gets admission in the college, she has to fill the Online Admission Form available on the College website (www.vkm.ac.in).
• 2. It is mandatory for students to fill the Online Admission form before Physical Verification of the documents.
• 3. Candidate has to bring verification checklist format (Annexure 1) along with other attachments with the admission form.
• 4. The admission will be confirmed only after submitting the printout of the application form along with all the required documents as per Annexure 1 and form fee of Rs. 100.

Note:

• Students must self-attest all photocopies of their documents before submission.
• PG Students who have completed their qualifying examination from Vasant Kanya Mahavidyalaya and have received their Transfer Certificate (T.C.) and Character Certificate (C.C.) must submit these documents along with the college admission form. Those who have not obtained their TC and CC do not need to apply for one.
• PG Students who have passed their qualifying examination from University other than BHU have obtained a Migration Certificate, must submit the original Migration Certificate.
• PG Students who have passed their qualifying examination from BHU or any affiliated college and have not obtained a Migration Certificate do not need to apply for one.
