The alumni association of the college was formed in 2003-04 to give a message to the alumnae that its ties with the alma mater can never be severed. The return of the ex-students to their roots, strengthens the emotional bond and the college assesses its own growth and progress through their achievements. The association organized the first alumnae meet on 24.12.03 which was inaugurated by Dr. Kusum Mishra, Dr. Asha Rani Mehrotra, Dr. Kamala Pandey and Smt. Madhuri Pandey. The Patron members were Prof. Sushila Singh, Prof. Chandrakala Padia, Prof. (Late) Vijaya Shivpuri. The alumni meet is organized annually. VKM is the proud alma mater of a member of illustrious personalities. The college alumni committee holds its meetings regularly. It organizes "Avartan", the annual alumni meet, in which about 200-300 alumni participate. The committee encourages outgoing students to be a member of the alumni association of the college and stay connected with their alma mater. Phone numbers and email ids of the alumni are maintained. Important notices are communicated through newspapers, college website, telephone calls or mails. A number of scholarships for students have been in place for the past several years, started by or in the name of alumni or retired teachers of the college. It’s a matter of immense pleasure that our alumni association has been registered on 30th May 2022.
